And go to your God like a soldier”

The Soldier stood and faced God
Which must always come to pass
He hoped his shoes were shining
Just as bright as his brass
"Step forward you Soldier,
How shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek?
To My Church have you been true?"
"No, Lord, I guess I ain't
Because those of us who carry guns
Can't always be a saint."
I've had to work on Sundays
And at times my talk was tough,
And sometimes I've been violent,
Because the world is awfully rough.
But, I never took a penny
That wasn't mine to keep.
Though I worked a lot of overtime
When the bills got just too steep,
The Soldier squared his shoulders and said
And I never passed a cry for help
Though at times I shook with fear,
And sometimes, God forgive me,
I've wept unmanly tears.
I know I don't deserve a place
Among the people here.
They never wanted me around
Except to calm their fears.
If you've a place for me here,
Lord, It needn't be so grand,
I never expected or had too much,
But if you don't, I'll understand."
There was silence all around the throne
Where the saints had often trod
As the Soldier waited quietly,
For the judgment of his God.
"Step forward now, you Soldier,
You've borne your burden well.
Walk peacefully on Heaven's streets,
You've done your time in Hell."
Non-bumi enrolment: UiTM students urged to don black in protest
Wednesday, May 15, 2024
Malaysiakini : The Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) student representative council
has urged students to dress in black tomorrow in protest of a proposal
to allow non-bumiputera students to enrol in its cardiothoracic surgery
postgraduate programme.
The council also encouraged students to
upload photos of their attire with the #MahasiswaUiTMBantah hashtag on
social media, to support the online campaign launched yesterday. “The objective of UiTM’s establishment is to ensure less privileged bumiputera students get access to higher education.
“We
unanimously support for UiTM to stay with its original objective to
protect and advance bumiputera students as a bastion of national
privilege and progress,” the council said in an Instagram story.
Proarte : Donning black is appropriate because it is a black day for Bumiputera dignity, self worth and respect for citizenship rights of the non-Bumiputera, namely, their rights to equality.
The fact that UiTM students can without shame want to exclude non-Bumiputera citizens whose communities pay much of the taxes which keeps UiTM afloat because it is a public funded university, is a reflection of the Apartheid mindset which these entitled Malay students have.
UiTM students have criticised Israel for being an “ Apartheid State “ despite a disproportionate number of doctors being Arab Israeli. 20% or roughly 2 million of the Israeli population is Arab yet 30% of its doctors are Arab.
Israel’s cardiothoracic teaching universities do not have a discriminatory policy towards Muslim Arabs. Indeed, many of the top cardio-thoracic surgeons in Israel are Arab.
Israel is fair to its cardio-thoracic trainees and does not have an Apartheid policy of excluding Arabs. It operates on a basis of fairness and merit. By contrast, our spoilt UiTM students without any sense of shame want to maintain a policy of discrimination and unfair privilege.
Furthermore, they expect tax money from those discriminated against to fund their privileged and unfair education.
Let the black dress of UiTM be their badge of shame and dishonour for countries like South Africa to be aware of. South Africa has a horrible history of Apartheid whereby the Blacks were excluded from most universities and the idea of a Black cardio-thoracic surgeon was laughable. They will be sad as well as shocked to learn that Apartheid is alive and kicking in Malaysia.
Anon25 : US, Australia, Canada, Germany, Uk should not allow Malaysian MALAY students into their universities or their graduate medical programs.
Let them go to Indonesia or to Pakistan or Afghanistan.
They have openly banned Non Muslims from UiTM
kita orangbiasa : ""The Malaysian Medical Association previously said that UiTM should allow non-bumiputera Malaysians seeking specialised training in the cardiothoracic field, given that international students can enrol in the university."""
Masa tu jangan kesal lah.
Koel : So these students wish to put race before country like an Apartheid system. And this is in an institution of higher education which should be about nobler values.
How interesting.
Can the news media reach out to worldwide ranking bodies such as QS ranking and Times Higher education to get their views on racism in education and whether such bodies support racist arguments of universities like this one. Are such institutions allowed to participate in international rankings exercise?
If so, this is to the lasting shame of these rankings agencies.
This is not about affirmative action, it is sheer discrimination and racial segregation in education. If these students were at all interested in affirmative action, there would be an honest attempt to look at the entire country and to address this along class dimensions.
This beast is of a completely different and brutish nature, using a colour bar. This is the legacy of ethnicised preferential treatments. The country has become irrelevant to this lot.
JayWai : Hypocrites!!!
It's CRAZY that they would wear black to protest opening up to Malaysian non-Muslims, ONLY for the cardiothoracic specialist training when all these while they are open to International students!!!
Seems like as far as UiTM is concerned, non-Muslim MALAYSIANS are less welcomed than international students.
And these same hypocrites keep harping on how vernacular schools are the cause of disunity in Malaysia.
A crocodile was caught outright targeting a herd of elephants multiple times... This was nothing more than an irritation for the herd until the crocodile managed to grab one by the nose!
Muslim 'Vote Bank' Now Dictating Politics in the UK
Op-India :Boycott of Israel, Sharia compliant ‘pension for Muslims’ and more: Read how Muslim vote bank is now dictating UK politics. Their controversial demands include Sharia-compliant pensions for Muslims, and depositing 7% of local government pension scheme/public sector pensions to Islamic funds among others.
Amidst the raging Israel-Hamas war,
Muslim vote bank politics has intensified in the United Kingdom. An
Islamist umbrella outfit named the “Muslim vote” group has asked the
UK’s principal opposition party, the Labour Party, to apologise to the
Muslim community for their stance on the Middle East crisis. The group
has threatened to “punish” those MPs who didn’t back a ceasefire in the
Israel-Hamas war, that is, those who didn’t put pressure on Israel to
stop its retaliation in response to the 7th October 2023 Hamas terror attack. Strikingly, the Islamists supported the 7th October attack and to date continue to defend it as “resistance”.
Additionally, the Muslim vote group has asked Keir Starmer, the leader of the opposition, to accept their 18 demands
if they want to win back Muslim voters lost because of their stance on
Israel’s attack on Gaza. These controversial demands include ending
Britain’s military ties with Israel, recognising the state of Palestine,
Sharia-compliant pensions for Muslims, and depositing 7% of local
government pension scheme/public sector pensions to Islamic funds among
others.
Incidentally, the Islamist umbrella outfit issued this list after
Starmer promised to win back the trust of voters who felt he didn’t
support Palestine enough. His remarks are seen as an outreach by the
Labour Party to Muslims as its 12 candidates lost councillors election
to Independents or other party’s Pro-Palestine individuals. As per The
Daily Mail, more than 40 pro-Palestinian candidates
won seats as councillors in England, alluding to the fact that Muslim
vote bank politics and the Gaza issue have started to dictate the UK’s
politics. Mayors of several cities and towns in the United Kingdom are
Muslims.

Maine Kid Who Tried to Kill Cops With Machete Is Sentenced, Elephant in Room Still Ignored
PJ Media : When Trevor Bickford was 19 years old, on Dec. 31, 2022, he ventured
down from his home in Wells, Maine, to Times Square. But he was not
planning to join with multitudes of New Year’s Eve revelers.
Instead, he
attacked three NYPD officers with a machete. On Thursday, he was
sentenced to 27 years in prison, and so even if he is on his very best
behavior for the next few years, we likely won’t be hearing about him
for a while. But his case reveals a massive problem that the whole world
seems determined to ignore.
NBC New York reported
Thursday that Bickford was sentenced “after pleading guilty to several
terror-related charges.” The report noted that Bickford also “previously
told the judge he was under psychiatric treatment for schizoaffective
disorder.” So did he attack the cops because he was nuts? Not
necessarily: Bickford “said he carried out the attack to wage jihad,
with the goal of killing military-aged men so he could become a martyr.”
U.S. Attorney Damian Williams said that Bickford was "inspired by
radical Islamic extremism.”
In Jan. 2024, the Associated Press
stated that Bickford “shouted ‘Allahu akbar’ — the Arabic phrase for
God is great — before striking the officers in the head with the machete
and trying to grab an officer’s gun.” This explanation was inaccurate
and misleading. “Allahu akbar” doesn’t mean “God is great”; it actually
means “Allah is greater.” That is, the god of Islam is superior to
anything that non-Muslims worship or hold dear. This declaration of
superiority frequently accompanies acts that are designed to enforce the
subjugation and submission of the infidel.
That wasn’t all. When Bickford was arrested, he had a handwritten note
in his backpack, asking his family to “please repent to Allah and
accept Islam.” To his mother, Bickford wrote: “I fear greatly that you
will not repent to Allah. And therefore I hold hope in my heart that a
piece of you believes so that you may be taken out to [sic] the
hellfire.” To his brother, he likewise wrote: “Please repent to Allah
and accept Islam. I fear for you.”
To another brother in the Marines, he
added: “You have joined the ranks Faced with all this evidence, authorities had to admit that this was a
jihad attack, something they were extremely reluctant to do. Thomas
Galati, the NYPD’s chief of intelligence and counterterrorism,
epitomized that reluctance in a Jan. 2023 statement that he could barely
get out amid all his discomfort with what he had to admit:
“Um, y’know, during the attack he did yell out ‘Allah akbar,’ um, you
know, and, um, you know, I – I believe he thought that this would be,
um, you know, k–, suicide by cop, uh, basically, at the end of this
attack. This is a distorted, uh, you know, um, uh, uh, version of him
being radicalized and thinking that what he’s doing is right, um, you
know, just, uh, want to make sure that that’s clear, he’s not
representing, you know, uh, the Islamic religion, but rather, you know, a
very, very small percentage of people that get radicalized.”of my enemy. And for that I can give
you no kind words – return to Allah.”
Unilateral conversion: Loh tells Maips to leave her alone By Hidir Reduan Abdul Rashid
Tuesday, May 14, 2024
Malaysiakini : Fresh off today's Federal Court ruling which affirmed the non-Muslim
status of her three unilaterally converted children, Loh Siew Hong told
the Perlis Islamic Religious and Malay Customs Council (Maips) to leave
her alone.
The single mother tearfully said her twin girls, 15,
and son, 12, have suffered four years since her children were converted
by her ex-husband and Muslim convert Muhammad Nagahswaran Muniandy in
2020.
“I do not want Maips to disturb me. Leave me alone. Enough,”
the 36-year-old said as her legal team led by lawyer A Srimurugan stood
with her at the lobby of the Palace of Justice in Putrajaya today. As she regained her composure, Loh said she was happy with today’s verdict.
She expressed gratitude to the public for supporting the family’s legal battle, adding that her children are fine. Earlier
today, a three-person Federal Court bench chaired by Chief Justice
Tengku Maimun Tuan Mat unanimously denied leave for Maips and three
others to proceed with an appeal to reinstate the Islamic conversion of
Loh’s children.
Loh and Nagahswaran, now 36, entered a civil marriage in 2008, but their marriage broke down over allegations of domestic violence that saw her hospitalised. She filed for divorce in December 2019.
However,
while she was recuperating from her injuries in a hospital, it was
reported the father took the three children away and converted them on
July 7, 2020. In
March 2021, Loh was granted sole custody, care, and control over the
children, and was legally divorced in September of that year.
In
February 2022, Loh’s children - who were under the care of the Social
Welfare Department - were released to their mother after the Kuala
Lumpur High Court allowed her habeas corpus application.
Krabian : Does those misguided religious bigots think they can make Islam a better religion if they keep forcing the issue which the court has duly decided?
On the Other Hand : I am no less than completely disgusted with the behaviour of MAIPS.
Their behaviour has exposed the lie that there is no compulsion in Islam.
MAIPS is supposedly headed and run by people knowledgeable about Islamic practice, so there can be no excuse about them being 'True Muslim'.
What we see is bullying, coercion, and outright hatred for anyone who refuses to convert to Islam.
This is a far cry from what Anwar Ibrahim preaches what Islam is all about. Where is the compassion, the kindness or any semblance of divinity? I see none.
Non-Muslims are fully justified in being Islamophobic.
Walau apapun : Kudos to Mdm Loh Siew Hong! The court verdict is a testament to her unwavering resolve and tenacity. Let her stand firm, unyielding in the face of religious bullies who seek to curtail the liberties of others.
MAIPS did you hear it loud and clear - LEAVE HER ALONE!
India: Muslim pushes Hindu minor in front of a train; she is cut in two and dies By Ashlyn Davis
Robert Spencer : A man abducts a minor girl on her way to school, rapes her, and pushes
the girl in front of a moving train. The train runs over the girl,
chopping her body into two, killing her instantly. When the police
recovers her body, the sight of the body lying in two halves is capable
of traumatizing an onlooker for life.
The level of inhumanity and
cruelty involved in this crime calls for worldwide attention; the United
Nations needs to hold debates over it, and college and university
students across the globe must stage protests for days demanding
justice. But none of these things happened, or will happen in the
future.
This news didn’t get significant space in newspapers or
electronic or television media coverage, even in the country where it
occurred. What could be the reason for the absolutely shameful silence over this bloodcurdling act of violence?
The perpetrator in this case
is a Muslim named Fariyad, and the victim is a minor Hindu girl. The
world chooses to ignore crimes done by Muslims, mainly when they target
or victimize non-Muslim girls; the corporate media, along with secular
and liberal establishments, pretend that these crimes never happened,
resulting in thousands of innocent Hindu girls being slaughtered by
Muslims every year in India.
At the same time, loud and potent
pro-Islamic institutions weave contrived stories of Muslim victimhood in
India and dupe the world into believing that India’s Hindutva
government is brutalizing the hapless Muslims.
In 2006, the then-Prime Minister of India, Dr Manmohan Singh, made the notorious announcement that Muslims
have the first right to India’s resources. In the 18 years since, the
Islamic population of the South Asian country has come to believe that
it has the first and unquestioned right over India’s girls and women as
well.
That is why Hindu girls are found scattered in pieces even in the
states that are noted for strong Hindutva governments. The
heart-wrenching most recent incident is reported from the Bareilly
district of Uttar Pradesh.
Providing information about the gory incident, the mother of the
victim, Usha, a native of the Nai Basti Faridpur area, details how a
group of Muslims, one of whom was identified as Fariyad, had killed her
14-year-old child. On Wednesday, May 8, the family received a call from
the victim’s school, informing the family that the girl had received low
marks in a subject and was being called in to fill out an improvement
form.\
On her way to school, she encountered Fariyad, who offered to drop
her off at school, but abducted her instead. He took her towards a
railway bridge near the Baghul River. Upon arriving at the railway
bridge, Fariyad physically assaulted her, and then pushed her in front
of an approaching train. Several locals, including the victim’s brother,
are witnesses to Md Fariyad dragging the minor girl to the railway
bridge.
There are also reports suggesting that the deceased was first taken
to a mosque and coerced into converting to Islam. Though the accused
tried to flee, bystanders apprehended him. The police, who were alerted
by the victim’s elder sister, arrived at the scene and took the accused
into custody. Even when the family was handing over Fariyad to the
police, he tried to pounce on them with a sharp knife.
The Bareilly police have confirmed the incident on their official X
account. They also stated that an FIR has been registered at the
Fatehganj east police station, as well as at the Katna police station in
Shahjahanpur. The postmortem has been conducted, and further
investigations are underway.
Though investigations are going on and will probably lead to
penalties for the accused, this traumatic case will certainly not be the
last of its kind. Muslim men targeting young Hindu girls and finishing
them off in brutal ways have become common in India; such instances fail
to raise any eyebrows or trigger any discussion.
Many Muslims have
grown wild in India, and fear no law. They are aware that after each
murder they commit, an army of apologists will rise up in their defense;
some will claim that the accused was mentally unstable, and some will
say that he was being harassed by the system governed by Hindu
ideologues. Islamic apologists will justify their actions on social
media, as they have always done.
This
acute demographic shift doesn’t auger well for the average Hindu girl.
With every passing day, the challenge for Hindu parents to keep their
daughters safe from jihadis are becoming more formidable.
Toronto: Uber driver tells woman he would kidnap her if they were in Pakistan
Robert Spencer : The Qur’an teaches that Infidel women can be lawfully taken for sexual
use (cf. its allowance for a man to take “captives of the right hand,”
4:3, 4:24, 23:1-6, 33:50, 70:30).
The Qur’an says: “O Prophet, tell your
wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to bring down
over themselves of their outer garments. That is more suitable that they
will be known and not be abused. And ever is Allah Forgiving and
Merciful.” (33:59)
The implication there is that if women do not cover
themselves adequately with their outer garments, they may be abused, and
that such abuse would be justified.
People saying man doesn't know what he is saying، There is a language barrier. Nah, bruh. There is no language barrier. Women are kidnapped and forcefully converted to Islam if they are not Muslim and raped.
Google, how many cases took place in 2023, and you would know the reality.
Malaysiakini : COMMENT | Yesterday marked the 55th
anniversary of the riots of May 13, 1969, in Kuala Lumpur. It happened
three days after the May 10 election of that year, the third after
Malaysia’s independence on Aug 31, 1957.
Most Malaysians, over 90
percent, have no memory of it - it was that long ago. But it remains
etched indelibly in the psyche of the nation with unprecedented racially
motivated killings. Official figures count 196 dead, unofficial ones at
several hundred.
It was an epic tragedy for the nation, less than
a dozen years old, paving the way for sweeping controversial political
and economic changes which are still the topics of intense, emotional
debate today.
Five years ago to the day, on May 14, 2019, I wrote an article for Malaysiakini titled “Forgetting May 13”
on the 50th anniversary of the riots. “Forgetting” for me meant
forgiving and moving on, ensuring we never allow others to manipulate
race that way again.
Harun Idris and May 13: The truth can cut both ways : Grandson of disgraced ex-S'gor MB Harun wants to clear his name.
Vijay47: Ashaari Azman Shah, reading the valiant efforts you made to re-establish your grandfather’s reputation, one can readily conclude that you have all the hallmarks of a true Umno leader.
Heck, you can also be a university professor!
After all, former Selangor menteri besar Harun Idris had many non-Malay friends, he had a passionate interest in sports, he led the national football team to great heights, and he even arranged the Muhammad Ali-Joe Bugner fight in Kuala Lumpur in 1975.
So how can anyone hold his alleged involvement in the May 13, 1969 riots against him?
How can anyone hold the Holocaust against Adolf Hitler’s aide, Heinrich Himmler, who had been a boy scout in his youth - it was just one of those molehill things!
You credit your grandfather with the creation of PKNS (Selangor State Development Corporation). Very true.
But let us not overlook the fact that PKNS, like most government-linked companies (GLCs), is a citadel of racism.
Equally true are two seemingly contradictory statements you made - that he was imprisoned for corruption and that he “was too farsighted”. Again, very true.
Had he lived in more current times, especially with a corrupt association, he would have been hailed as a shameless leader of the race by his fan club.
The Pulitzer Prize is assured for you, Ashaari, that when you asked former prime minister Mahathir Mohamad whether he, Malaysia’s second prime minister Abdul Razak Hussein, and your dear grand-dad had any role in the May 13 tragedy, he replied in the negative. Maybe you will even get the Nobel Prize for Literature.
Loh's three children remain Hindus By Hidir Reduan Abdul Rashid
Malaysiakini : Single mother Loh Siew Hong's three unilaterally converted children will remain non-Muslims.A
three-person Federal Court bench chaired by Chief Justice Tengku Maimun
Tuan Mat unanimously denied the appeal leave application by the Perlis
Islamic Religious and Malay Customs Council (Maips) and three others to
reinstate the children's 2020 unilateral conversion.
The other appellants were the Perlis state government, state mufti Mohd Asri Zainul Abidin, and the state mualaf (new Islamic converts) registrar.
On Jan 10, the Court of Appeal allowed Loh's appeal to nullify
the unilateral conversion of her 15-year-old twin daughters and her
12-year-old son by their Muslim convert father Muhammad Nagahswaran
Muniandy. The 36-year-old mother was appealing against the Kuala Lumpur High Court decision on May 11 last year, which dismissed her judicial review targeting the validity of the unilateral conversion.
Loh
and Nagahswaran entered a civil marriage in 2008, but their marriage
broke down over allegations of domestic violence that saw her
hospitalised. She filed for divorce in December 2019. However,
while she was recuperating from her injuries in a hospital, it was
reported the father took the three children away and converted them on

same year. In February 2022, Loh’s children - who were under the
care of the Social Welfare Department - were released to their mother
after the Kuala Lumpur High Court allowed her habeas corpus application.
GrayCondor1956 : Finally! Madam Loh trust you can carry on your life with your children undisturbed from now on. All the best to you and your children. God bless.
GreenKijang7359 : Let’s hope so! Hard to say when we are dealing with barbarians because they don’t respect the law except for their laws from the pit of hell.
Dino : To Maips why cant you guys just follow the law?
RedGecko6275 : So much trouble… all for the name of religion. Why can’t people be left to practice whatever religion they want?
Fair Play : Loh Siew Hong and her children can now live without further harrassment from the relevant authority.
Murder and mayhem in Kampung Baru - my May 13 story Aidila Razak and Tham Seen Hau
Malaysiakini
: Editor's note: The following article includes troubling details of
the deadly riots on May 13, 1969. This dark episode of history is so
painful that it is shrouded in secrecy and taboo.
Fifty years to the day, we are sharing
several stories for generations of Malaysians born after the riots. May
it serve as a lesson for today and our collective future.
The following article contains graphic description of the violence that
took place. Not everything can be independently verified. However,
portions which can be corroborated are marked in blue hyperlinks.
This is the story of an eyewitness to the riots of May 13, 1969.
A first-year student at Universiti Malaya
at the time, he was caught in Kampung Baru, one of the hotspots of the
riot. He remained there until May 16.
Now 70, the eyewitness spoke to Malaysiakini on condition of anonymity,
and confessed to prolonged and ongoing trauma from what he experienced
50 years ago.
“Even now when I go to the mosque area, I get flashbacks of what I saw,”
said the witness, who is Malay.
With tears in his eyes, he recalled an incident where a young Chinese
family was set upon by a Malay mob.
“I don’t know what got to me, but I became hysterical. I remember
shouting: ‘Let them go! Let them go! Kill me! Kill me!’ I remember using
those words. I tore off my shirt and went absolutely berserk.
“I don’t know why I did that, but I just couldn’t accept it. When I saw
two young children – a girl and a boy – crying and their parents shaking
in the car, I couldn’t accept it. What was their sin? Because they were
Chinese? Why must they be the victims?”
This is his story, as told to Aidila Razak and Tham Seen Hau.

Malaysiakini : The following article includes troubling details of the deadly riots
on May 13, 1969. This dark episode of history is so painful that it is
shrouded in secrecy and taboo.
We tell this story today - 50 years to
the day - for generations of
Malaysians born after the riots. May it serve as a lesson for today and
our collective future. The Japanese occupation and British rule fostered
communal distrust and saw several smaller ethnic clashes.
In weeks before polling day on May 10,
two party workers were killed
in Penang and federal capital Kuala Lumpur. One was from Umno, another
from the communist-linked Labour Party. A funeral procession involving
thousands was held for the Labour Party worker in KL on eve of polling.
Tensions were high. Early results showed the Alliance lost much ground
to Chinese-dominated
opposition parties DAP and Gerakan. In Selangor - where KL was located -
the assembly was hung.
The first death - a boy

travellers about Malaysia’s ban on bringing pork and pork-based products
into the country.
“To all disembarking passengers carrying those items, please dispose of them into designated disposal bins (quarantine bin).“Failure
to do so will result in the items being confiscated and the passenger
can be fined up to RM100,000 or six years imprisonment or both,” read
the undated notice.

COMMENT
| A win is a win even more so in politics, where the winners can use
the opportunity gained to further shape the political landscape into
what they want it to be.
Despite what all the naysayers said, the
people of Kuala Kubu Baharu (KKB), especially the non-Malay vote, went
to the Anwar Ibrahim regime, just another indication that non-Malays are
Anwar’s vote bank.
Working
with Umno means holding your tongue. Much like MCA was accused of
doing, while DAP supporters want action from their representatives, even
if it means barking very loudly. And we know how DAP can make compromises when it feels it needs to.
For
decades, the running dog narrative was used against the MCA until the
realisation of working with Malay power structures hit home when DAP
realised that Malay expectations when it came to power-sharing trumped
the Bangsa Malaysia kool-aid it was peddling to the base.
Anwar
gets to claim bragging rights for this win even though he is portrayed
as an unpopular leader who ditched his “Reformasi” agenda. Now he knows
that the non-Malay vote, through DAP, will not abandon him no matter
what he does.
Uncle Yap : More and more, PKR is becoming UMNO-wannabe and Anwar the Trojan horse all along, complete with deputy of questionable reputation. Anwar may have been thrown out of UMNO by Dr M but he is now back.
Reformasi, like the black eye, is just a distant memory ... it is business as usual for the new BN, with DAP playing or not playing its role as MCA.
What a huge disappointment for those expecting positive changes.
darmakochi : 'Anwar can claim bragging rights' - Very well said. He had taken NMs for granted. His simple logic is the NMs hate PN more than PH even if PH does things contrary to what was expected of PH. Armed with that he can embark on his Islamisation agenda with Ergodan behind him. Do not be surprised if behind the scene he is working with PXS.
JWKK : With this better than expected victory for Pang, DAP must be strategizing that, in future elections, they better not show hypocrite Anwar around in the campaigning area and not have him open his mouth as well.
Why have his ketuanan-tilted Unity and Abim-influenced Madani around to worry and stress NM voters since Anwar has shown enough that he is no PM for all Malaysians. It would be a smart move.
On the Other Hand : The point most analysis to date has ignored is the very high percentage of protest non-votes, and this is clearly demarcated by race:
Malay turnout was 85%, but despite this, PN failed to make headway.
Chinese turnout was 48%, clearly upset at DAP's willingness to be UMNO's footstool.
Indian turnout was 28%, and clearly the stay away campaign was successful, and the Indians are not just upset, but very, very upset with PMX and his racist bias against Indians.
Steven Ong : His “don’t spook the Malays” mantra will now become the foundational first principle of the Madani regime. A racist religious bigot governance will never go far but crumble one day..
There are too many examples for all to see. Only the religious bigots who are in power cannot see it. Even until the country is ruined and struggling , they still does not accept what had happened to the country.
"They put them into holes and shot them." - An October 7th Survivor Story
On college campuses, on social media, and around the world right now, we are seeing protests and people screaming out against the “genocide” of the IDF and the Jewish people.
In this interview, I spoke with Moran, a member of the IDF, so we could hear, firsthand, the truth of what is going on in Israel. Moran bravely describes her experience on October 7th from the unique point of view of an IDF soldier and a mother. It is time that we get informed and get loud.

A Tribute to Sarawak’s 20th Senate President Datuk Mutang Tagal from Ba Kelalan - Special report by James Ritchie
Part 1: From Miracle to a Tragic loss.
My first encounter with Datuk Mutang Tagal and his family go back to 1985 when Sarawak’s first correspondent of the New Straits Times. Forty years ago I was invited from attend a gathering of “Lun Bawang” or “Murut” natives celebrating a series of Christian Miracles at Buduk Nur at the foot of Gunung Murud --Sarawak’s 7,953 ft highest mountain complex.
It was at Ba Kelalan that I met the prominent family of Pastor Mutang Tagal and two sons Dr Judson Tagal and younger sibling Mutang, a 29-year-old University of Malay-trained lawyer.
It was here that Pastor Mutang built up his fortunes of growing the famous “Padi Adan” better known as Bario Rice.
Pak Tagal also bred the Sabah species of “ponies” and had a stable of horses.
Together with Ba Kelalan’s community of about 1,500 villagers and Tagal’s two sons, they also developed the surrounding hills and built a tourist resort.
They built a mini hydro-electric dam which provided power to nine “Kampungs” the enclave.
It was through Pastor Tagal that the community enjoyed that facilities, amenities and a Borneo Evangelical Mission or Sidang Injil Borneo” which had served the community since the 2nd world war.
My journey to Ba Kelalan entailed flying by Boeing from Kuching to Miri for a night-stop before connecting by MAS Twin Otter to Lawas’s Budur Nur airstrip.
After a week of investigations, I wrote (New Straits Times (December 2, 1985) my story.
“I saw a video-tape recording of one of the miracles…women dressed in white skirts and yellow blouses looking up to the sky.
“Then as they clapped their hands a small ball a light appeared in the sky…songs of praise and clapping seemed to bring the ball of fire closer and slightly larger.
“As it zig-zagged in the sky the villagers of the Sidang Injil Borneo (Borneo Evangelical Mission) continued singing…it appeared to be keeping in rhythm to the choir.”
The reports of “dancing lights” were first reported in April 1985 and at the soccer pitch of the Ba Belan valley watered by quaint streams and brooks and bamboo groves from which they community built their habitat!
It was at Ba Kelalan that I met the prophetic pastor Agung Bangau who motivated the villagers to build South East Asia’s highest church called “Gedung Hallelujah” on the saddle of Mount Kinabalu.
From Gedung Hallelujah, we hiked for four hours to get to the peak to witness the first 6 a.m. sunrise on a misty day.
Grand-mothers as old as 80 and children below the age of six from the cluster of Ba Kelalan’s 10 villages--Buduk Nur, Long Langai, Long Lemutut, Long Ritan, Long Rusu, Pa Tawing, Buduk Bui, Buduk Aru and Long Rangat—have joined in the pilgrimage since.
In my first interview with Agung, he spoke of his journey with an angel who brought him to place he called “heaven”.
The Brutal Reality of the Middle East - Mosab Hassan Yousef
Dr. Jordan B. Peterson sits down in person with Mosab Hassan Yousef. They discuss the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, the chaos created by Yasser Arafat, how Palestine has globalized their radical cause, Mosabs time as a prisoner, what set him free, and the far-from-paved road going forward.
Mosab Hassan Yousef (born in 1978) is a Palestinian ex-militant who defected to Israel in 1997 where he worked as an undercover agent for the Shin Bet until he moved to the United States in 2007.
Yousef was considered the Shin Bet's most reliable source in the Hamas leadership, earning himself the nickname "The Green Prince.” The intelligence he supplied to Israel led to the exposure of many Hamas cells, as well as the prevention of dozens of suicide bombings and assassination attempts on Jews. Yousef’s father is Sheikh Hassan Yousef, a co-founder of Hamas.
